Helfa Gelf / Art Trail- Jewellery Exhibition and Workshop
This is North Wales biggest Open Studio Event and this year Karen Williams, a Silversmith who lives and works in Mynydd will be exhibiting her jewellery and metalwork in the Neuadd Goffa on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September from 11am to 5pm.
Karen will also be running silver ring making workshops throughout the weekend- I can highly recommend these, you will end up with a lovely ring to wear and Karen is a great teacher.
Please check out the Helfa Gelf website for further details about Karen and her work and for information of more studios open throughout North Wales.

Christmas Market
Dont’t forget the Christmas market is now Friday 7th Dec at 7pm in the evening. There will be 18 stalls with many returning from the recent Country Market plus others including the fantastic Christmas wreaths from the Gardening Club, knitwear, ornaments, cake stall (donations gratefully received) a tombola, handmade cards plus Santa with his lucky dip bag.
Entry is £1 for adults (includes drink & mince pie)
Entry is free for children (there will be a small charge for mince pies)
Ceilidh Cancelled
An unfortunate side effect of the recent deluges is the cancellation of the Christmas Ceilidh. Thought the main hall is unaffected sadly the organisers were not and are now busy sorting out the aftermath and understandably too busy to spare the considerable time needed to put on this event.
