Please note: this calendar is an aide to those wishing to book the hall and, as such, only shows those events taking place in the hall itself; it does not include village events and meetings of clubs and societies that take place in other venues, e.g. choir, gardening club or church events and services. For these, please refer to the newsletter.
On this calendar, dates and times for clubs, classes and societies will be correct for the upcoming month. Future months are correct as far as we know but liable to change, so dates will only be put on the calendar for the upcoming two to three months. Private bookings and one-off events are shown as soon as possible after booking and are correct unless the hirer amends details.
Ar yr 11eg o Ragfyr 2025, yn dilyn brwydr fer ond un ddewr yn erbyn canser, collasom ein ffrind annwyl David Roberts – ein Dave ni. Ar ôl ymgartrefu yn Llwybr Main gyda’i wraig Barbara dros 50 o flynyddoedd yn ôl, a magu pedair o ferched prydferth o’r Mynydd, daeth yn rhan annatod o fywyd y pentref a’r Neuadd Goffa. Fel pwyllgor, byddwn yn parhau i’w golli’n fawr, fel ymddiriedolwr, aelod o’r pwyllgor, “y dyn gallem droi ato am bopeth”, a ffrind annwyl. Roedd yn cael ei garu, ei barchu a’i werthfawrogi gan y gymuned gyfan, gan helpu cymaint o bobl yn ei ffordd dawel a diymhongar.
Roedd Dave yn gefn mawr i holl ymdrechion codi arian y Neuadd Goffa; efallai nad oedd Bingo at ei ddant, ond roedd yn mwynhau cwisiau’n fawr iawn. Yn wir, ef oedd y ‘Quiz Master’ penigamp i’w deulu. Fel teyrnged i Dave, bydd y Neuadd yn cynnal Noson Gwis er cof ac er anrhydedd iddo. Rhoddir yr holl arian a godir i elusen a ddewisir gan y teulu.
Ymunwch â ni ddydd Sadwrn, y 10fed o Hydref am 7yh bydd y drysau’n agor am 6.45yh. Dewch â’ch tîm (£10 i ymuno fesul tîm, gydag uchafswm o 5 aelod) a digon o arian mân ar gyfer tocynnau raffl a lluniaeth (te a chacen). Nid yw’r Neuadd yn gwerthu alcohol, ond mae croeso i chi ddod â’ch potel a’ch gwydr eich hun.

On the 11th December 2025, following a short yet brave battle with cancer, we lost our dear friend David Roberts, our Dave. Having settled in Llwybr Main with wife Barbara over 50 years ago, bringing up four beautiful Mynydd girls, he became an integral part of village life and the Neuadd Goffa. As a committee we will continue to miss him dearly, as a trustee, committee member, our ‘go to man’ and cherished pal. He was loved, respected and appreciated by the community as a whole, helping so many in his quiet yet unassuming way.
Dave was a supporting force in all Neuadd Goffa fundraising, Bingo may not have been his thing, but he was especially fond of a Quiz. So much so, he was Quiz Master extraordinaire to his family. As a mark of respect, the Neuadd will be hosting a Quiz Night in his memory and honour. All funds raised will be donated to a charity chosen by the family.
Please join us on Saturday the 10th October at 7pm, doors will open at 6.45pm. Bring your team (£10 entry per team with a maximum of 5 members), enough change for raffle tickets and refreshments of tea and cake. The Neuadd does not sell alcohol, but feel free to bring your own bottle and a glass.
Yin Yoga and Sound
June 28 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Easy like Sunday Morning…

Sound baths help promote deep relaxation and mental clarity through the use of sound vibrations.
These sounds can help shift the brain from a more active state into slower, calmer brainwave states leading to deep relaxation and rest.
Some of the main benefits include reduced stress and anxiety, better sleep, lower blood pressure, and improved emotional wellbeing. Sound baths can also help regulate the nervous system by activating the body’s natural “rest and digest” response, helping you feel calmer and more grounded.
The vibrations created during a session can help release physical tension, improve circulation, and encourage the body to fully relax. Many people find that sound baths quiet their mental chatter, bringing a greater sense of clarity, focus, and inner peace.
Regular sessions can also support healthier sleep patterns and help the body recover more effectively from everyday stress. It is also believed that the vibrations interact with the body on a deeper level, supporting balance, energy flow, and overall wellbeing.
Yin yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the deep connective tissues of the body through long-held, gentle poses. We stay in each posture for several minutes, encouraging relaxation, flexibility, and a deeper awareness of physical sensations.
When paired mindfulness, yin yoga becomes a deep meditation. We learn to observe our thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without judgment, cultivating presence and equanimity. Benefits include reduced stress, improved joint and tissue health, enhanced emotional resilience, and a profound sense of inner calm.
Please bring
A mat
Blanket
Bolster cushion if you have one.
